This position will have responsibility for wind projects throughout the planning process from site identification through to planning application submission and approval.

The main duties of the role will be:

  • Project management for a portfolio of wind energy sites including budget and sub-contractors
  • Preparation of EIA statements and planning applications including pre-application consultation and negotiations
  • Construction of planning statements,
  • In depth negotiation with local planning authorities and other organisations and agencies
  • Development site visits and attendance of meetings with land owners and consultation bodies

The right individual will be outgoing, confident and a team player whilst able to work independently to achieve set objectives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A demonstrable knowledge of the EIA process
  • Previous experience of progressing large scale applications through the planning system, with an understanding of the UK planning process, procedures and legal framework

Wind Farm Design Technician

Working within the energy team, the successful candidate will be working on various projects to cleanse and ensure data quality. You will be using excel and an energy CRM system to analyse data and produce reports.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and service delivery partners
  • Extracting, manipulating and analysing data from, and importing data into, internal systems including the CRM system
  • Maintaining data quality, transmission files and reporting systems

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven data management, manipulation and analysis skills
